When you visit this website

When the website is accessed, the web server automatically processes data in so-called server log files that your browser transmits for technical reasons: IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, the volume of data transferred, a message on whether the request succeeded, browser type and version, operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer).

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These log files are stored for security reasons for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted; data whose further retention is required as evidence remains exempt from deletion until the matter is finally resolved.

This website sets no cookies, embeds no external fonts, maps, videos or social-media elements, and uses no reach measurement or tracking. The product screenshot on the home page is loaded from phillux.software-hub.org — our own server, so nothing is passed to a third party. Links to GitHub, Google Maps or the Phillux site are plain links: data is only transmitted once you actively click one, and the provider's own privacy policy then applies.

Hosting

This website is hosted by 24fire (24fire.de), Germany. 24fire processes the server log files on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in the European Union, so no transfer to a third country takes place.

When you contact us by email or phone

This website has no contact form. You reach us only through the email address or phone number shown on the site.

If you write or call, we process the details you provide — in particular your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry — in order to deal with it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose; the need for retention is reviewed regularly. Statutory retention obligations — such as the seven-year retention of business correspondence under § 132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO) — remain unaffected.

Recipients

Your data is passed on to third parties only where this is necessary to achieve the stated purposes or where there is a legal obligation. Recipients are in particular our hosting provider (server log files, as a processor), our email provider, and, where necessary, tax advisors, authorities and courts within the scope of statutory obligations.

Your rights

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.

Changes to this policy

We adapt this privacy policy whenever changes to our processing make it necessary. The version published on this page at the time applies.
